10.27.08 Thank you Mouse for notifying Esuora members of the upcoming NaNoWriMo! I personally have never done anything like this event of writing a story of 50,000 words, but I'm very excited to do so. All members please take a look and consider signing up. If you do sign up post your username on the NaNoWriMo thread so that we can all become buddies!
10.21.08 I, Sunrise, leave tomorrow for Ireland so I most likely will not be on very much in the next 10 days. I'm sure you'll all do fine without me though. Make sure to welcome any new members kindly and post some great stuff while I'm gone! (:

Has anybody else here read the book Ishmael by Daniel Quinn? Just wondering if anybody was as majorly effected by it as I was. It literally made me rethink my life xD
For those of you who haven't read it, you should. This is what the back says:
TEACHER SEEKS PUPIL. Must have an earnest desire to save the world. Apply in person.
It was just a three-line ad in the personals section, but it launched the adventure of a lifetime...
So begins Ishmael, an utterly unique and captivating novel that has earned a large and passionate following among readers and critics alike--one of the most beloved and bestselling novels of spiritual adventure ever published.
Sounds wonderful. I'll see if it is in the library tomorrow. I don't think it is, but I'll just request it if it isn't. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

It is the most AMAZING book ever. As long as you like philosophy. It doesn't have to much of a plot line, just a lot of contemplating ideas, and if you're looking for some kind of adventure book, it's not for you, but if you want to do some deep thinking it is great <3
It is written really well, and if you don't understand something, don't worry it'll all clear up. And if not... go back and read it again xD
