Snowy Forest

While I was looking at Palaina I realized just how much I loved him. Maybe I did want his pups right now? It was by far much better than the jerk's pups.
I smiled, feeling better by talking to Kahlan. "Thank you, I said then turned away. I needed to talk to Palaina now!

I looked up when I heard them coming back. I had an idea and I need to talk to Ana alone. I was surprised when she walked up to me and licked my ear. "Hey I need to talk to you, okay?"

I nodded, walking away with her.

I smiled as the two of em trotted away to talk to each other. I had no idea what they were going to say, as I was not sure about what Ana wanted to say. Instead I walked over towards Kuy and rubbed my muzzle into his neck, seeking comfort. He responded by laying down and licking my head when I joined him.

"I love you," He whispered into my ear. My eyes were closing and I smiled and whispered back, "I love you too."

Palaina stopped me after a certain point, which was good cause if he hadn't I might have kept going afraid to say what I was about to say. I sat and looked at the ground.

"Come on, you know you can tell me," He said, gently nudging my ear with his nose.

Everything came out in a rushed voice. "I might be pregnant now, I don't want to be, I might give them away but I'm against it. I love you. And I think I might want to mate with you but I'm afraid yet, I really want to because they might end up your pups if I do." I said, rambling now.

"Ana... Anakalia, sweetie, BABY STOP! It's okay, I get it. Plus I wanted to tell you something also. I love you too. I was going to suggest what you just told me, as well," He said, smiling. "But this is totally on you."

"Okay," I sat thinking for a while. "I'm ready," I replied. Palaina and I went back to Kuy and Kah a while after that. We too laid down.

I barely stirred when they came back, but Kuy lifted his head and greeted them when they came back. He didn't inquire and instead laid back down.

We awoke again, this time it was morning. God, hate mornings. It was cold so I snuggled in close to Palaina. I sighed when sleep still eluded me. I let out a growl of frustration, and I could feel Palaina laugh inside at me. "Shut up," I said, slightly nipping at his side.

"And why should I do that?"

I laughed at him and got up. "Morning," I greeted Kuy and Kahlan.

I awoke happy to find Kuy asleep at my side. I sighed with happiness at that and stood up, nudging Kuy awake. "Morning," I responded to Ana. Kuy got to his feet and gave my head a good morning kiss. I giggled at him and gave his cheek a good morning kiss of my own.

Kuy turned to Palaina and Anakalia. "I think it's time we leave. I don't want to be here any longer than I have to, and Kah feels the same."

I nodded at them. "Yes, I agree. We should this is to close to the city for me, and if I a right, my father's pack is near here. If they see us they won't be as kind as you two have been."

We walked for a little while and came upon a river. We stopped for drinks.

I eagerly gulped down a hundred mouthfuls of water it felt like. When we had all finished, we leapt across the river and continued on our way. Suddenly, I was getting woozy and my world started to spin. I carried on without saying anything to them, bur I knew I was moving slower. My head was lowered as I walked behind Kuy.

My body started to shudder, and I lost control of my balance. I feel forward into the snow and just lay there. My breathing was heavy, and I closed my eyes, the spinning too much for me. I could hear Kuy's frantic calls at a far away distance. Last thing I heard was, "Kah!"

I heard Kuy call "Kah!" and I turned in time to see her fall to the ground. I was there almost instantly. Kuy was nudging her to get her to wake up. I stated shaking in fear when she wouldn't wake up. Palaina pulled me to the side. "It's okay, just calm down. When was the last time you guys ate?" He asked

"She ate about a day ago. The last I ate was before we even got taken." I shook my head from side to side.

I stopped suddenly and looked up to see five wolves standing there. I recognized three of them. The other two were still young yet. One of them, my ex-friend Jen. She just let me go and didn't care, the other my half brother, and the last the first guy I liked.

Kuy did not noticed the new wolves gathered. Instead he could not fathom why his mate had dropped to the ground like that. He kept licking my ears, and he was oblivious to what was going on.

"Wake up, please."

I let out a hateful growl. "Aye, calm down." Said my ex love interest Nick.

"What's wrong?" Asked Palaina. "This would be some of my old pack members," I spat at their feet in disgust.

"Come on," Jen said, "don't be like that."

"How could I, you cared none when I was disowned. You abandoned me."

"You four go away," Commanded my half brother, whose name I never decided to learn. He was still small. He was the usual color of a wolf with brown eyes. "You will leave this place, NOW!" He commanded.

"We will as soon as my friend wakes up," I said, with venom in my voice.

Kuy finally realized the other wolves around here. He backed up protectively towards Kahlan on the ground.

"You actually have friends?" My half brother asked, almost laughing.

"Oh hell no," Kuy growled when the idiot wolf commented on something he barely heard. "I won't stand for this," He snarled, taking a threatening step forward.

[Anakalia]

I took a look at Kuy. He's your brother sort of you should make Kuy stop I told myself. Hell no I shouldn't I don't love him and as far as I'm concerened he hurt me, and my pride. I moved out from in between Kuy and him.

I walked closer to Palaina. When I was standing next to him he licked my ear. A growl emanated from the forest around us. I looked up in sudden disgust I knew it was coming from Nick. Now of all times to be jealous that he didn't have me. I laughed out loud when i saw him step closer to the clearing again.

"You already had your chance." I told him with joy in my voice. His eyes turned hard. "Palaina is mine now." I said with a lick to his ear as if to emphasize what i said. Palaina looked at him.

"You will stay away from her." His voice deadly. Nick still walked closer. Palaina left my side Nick and he watched each other. Nick made one false move and Palaina jumped at him.

My ex friend Jen barked when he did showing me she liked him. That's why she was always a jerk when I was around him. SHe came out and walked towards me. We stalked each other.

He knew the fight was best left to Nick and Palaina. Instead his attention was on the half-brother. He dared him to come and say something to his face. He saw that Anakalia and Jen were starting to circle each other.

"Shit," He said under his breath. He looked up at the three other wolves and waited expectantly, staying where he was.

I looked at her waiting for her to move we always used to play like this when we were younger I knew her style of fighting. I smiled at her. So Jen is he's your mate. How's it make you feel to know that he was jealous of the fact I had a mate that wasn't him?" I asked.

She sneered at me. I just laughed in her face trying to make her attack. It worked almost instantly. I stepped out of the way and laughed when she skidded across the snow. Before she could get up again I attacked her. I had her by the shoulder. She was scratching at my stomach. I bit down harder. When she got me good I let her go. She ran for the forest again.

Nick was watching Palaina. Palaina wasn't the type of wolf who sat and waited for the other to attack he just did. Nick didn't expect it from him. "She's mine. You will leave her alone." Palaina said he was on top of him. Nick on his back.

Some how he got lose and ran to the forest also.

I ran back to Kahlan as the other two fought the other wolves. "Please wake up." I pleaded with her sleeping form.
