[Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander]

She saw her parents there, and Jorams parents. Normally she was happy or calm around them, but this time, she just grunted a response to her parents. She shrugged it off and moved to the side. Obviously Joram wasn't into her, and into Chasey, the way he accepted her asking to come along like he did. Scowling, she sat off to the side, her dark thoughts brewing.

I look at my daughter, worried. I could tell something was seiously bothering her. "Evening Joram," I said, Kuy echoing my hello. I kept my eyes on her, wondering what was up. I gently nudged Kuy in a way that no one else would notice, but of course of him, and flicked my ear in our daughter's direction.

I walk over to the oposite side of the room from Estoni and lay down watching everyone. Cassie didn't follow me. She was probably mad about the way I treated her on the way here but I really didn't care.

I looked at Palaina I could feel the tension in the room. I was confused. I watched as Estoni left the den with an excuse me she supplied softly. Then I watched Joram follow her outside.

She was sitting there, in a patch of sunlight that broke through the trees above. Sighing she thought about all that had happened, and when she heard and felt another presence nearing her, she jumped and spinned around, growling. Then she saw it was Joram.

"Oh, it's you," She said softly, turned back to sit down again on her haunches.

"So are we even you surprise me I surprise you?" I waled forward more. She looked upset. "Hey you okay? You look sad." I quesstioned her as I sat down about two feet away from her.

"Sorry about Cassie. It's just hard for me to say no to anyone at all." I looked away from her and out towards the village. It was gonna be mine someday. I knew it well and almost everyone to this pack. I sighed as the sun hit my face it felt so good.

"You didn't surprise me, I knew you were coming, just not exactly who you were" She said, not looking at him. There was a hint of anger in his voice. Her head snapped to look at him when he started talking about Chasey, and she just shook her head.

"Don't think I don't know what's going on."

"Wait, what?" I looked at her confused as hell. "What do you mean nothings going on." I stood to move close to her.

"What's wrong? Did Cassie say something to you or something?" I asked she had me worried now.

She kept her hard gaze at him, but she could not keep it for long nd it began to soften. She cast her eyes down to her paws and sighed.

"No, she said nothing to me," She confessed, turning to look back at him. Again, the anger was flared anew in her eyes. "But I see how she hangs all over you."

I looked at her still confused she looked angry at the thought of Cassie all over me but she could't could she?

"I don't like Cassie Estoni I think she's stuck up and rude." When I heard a scoff from beside me. It was Cassie. SHit!

"Are you serious Joram? You think I'm stuck up at least I'm not miss goodie goodie like her. Plus that stupid earing." My face turrned from confused to angry in a flat second. Cassie took a step back from me.

"You will not talk about my friend like that." I yelled at her my voice strict.

"You could have atleast told me you had a girlfriend," She said, silently, before he started talking about Chasey again. Looking up when she heard her scoff at Joram. Anger flared hotter than before.

"Excuse me? A fucking goodie goodie!" She said, screaming at her. This time, she did not refrain. Instead, she launched her body towards Chasey, desperate to hurt her.

I took a step back in shock as I saw Estoni lung at her. Ah crap. Estoni flew into her at full blast. I was laughing inside Cassie didn't know Estoni like I did yeah she was a good girl but she did take chances and do things.

When I saw that Estoni wasn't getting off of her I knew I had to step in. I walked up to them and whispered in Estoni's ear. "She's not my girlfriend Estoni." That surprised her enough to where I could get her off Cassie.

She was stunned when he whispered those words in her ears. She didn't even realize when he was pulling her off of Chasey. She stared ahead, she had thought that Chasey was his girlfriend, the way she lingered there when they hugged.

I heard screaming outside, and ran out jsut in time to see Estoni lunge towards a brown she-wolf, and Joram rushing in and pulling Estoni off of her. I ran over towards them. "What the hell is going on?" I barked.

I looked up when I saw Kahlan come running up. "Nothing," I replied then looked at Cassie. "She was just leaving." I said coldly in her direction.

"Joram wait!" I heard Cassie call after me. I didn't turn around to even give her a simple no. When I walked back into the den I saw my mom and dad talking quietly and Kuy was asleep. That explains why he wasn't the one who came out to see what was going on. Unless there was real danger present he didn't wake up while asleep.

I ignored what ever they were talking to each other about and walked into my room and plopped down on the the pelts I had laying there. Stupid Cassie

Estoni looked at her mother. She was still stunned by what Joram had said. Then why did he let her hang all over him like he had been doing? Shaking her head, she alked past her mother and into the den. She needed time to think.

I watched as my daughter walked past me and into the den we were staying in. I wondered what was up, so I walked over to Anakalia and Palaina to join in on their conversation.

I look up when Kahlan comes over. "What do yo think happened?" She asked I could hear the worry in her voice. I shook my head just as lost as she but I told her one of the possibilites that Palaina and I thought it could be.

"I think that they may like each other they're just not telling each other. What do you think it is?"

I thought for a moment about what they had said. Could it be? I thought about how Estoni had attacked the wolf who I presumed to be Chasey, and how she looked stunned when she walked past me. I couldn't read her emotions that well, but I did feel something when she went past.

"Mmmm, maybe that could be why she lunged at Chasey," I said, thinking.
