Sighing with content, she closed her eyes. He was finally holding her and touching her, the way she had always dreamed about and hoped for. Her sides still heaved, yet not because she was short of breath, her heart was beating faster and faster. It began tos low down though, when she slipped into the land of dreams.

I looked up when Anakalia looked at me. "They've been gone a long time, who knows where they are, or if they are even together."

It was a while before I had fallen asleep enjoying her being this close to me. My dreams consisted of the usual. I was with her and we had pups and we were in our own den now. I moved as I drempt. But something was diffrent. I opened my eyes and Estoni wasn't there.

I jumped to my feet. "Estoni," I screamed out. There was an answering laughter to my side and sudenly I was pushed to the ground laughing also. I looked up into her bright rys as she licked my face. I licked hers back. Then roll over. Me standing over her this time. I bite her ear playfully and laugh some more.

She smiled as she looked up at him, and gently, she reached up and licked his face once more. She leaned back, her smile widening as she did so. She was just happy spending time with him.

"Oh, Joram," She started, she wanted to say so much, but she couldn't get the words to her lips.

I knew she was having a hard time saying what she wanted to say. So I sat ans waited a smile on my lips.


I nodded to them when Kahlan said what I was thinkng. "Do you think we should go out and look for them? Maybe they need ut help." I was even more worrdied now since Kahlan had said something.

She looked up at him, a smile on her face. "I love you, really I do," She didn't know why she just didn't say it at first, she was shcoked she had even said it now. She didn't know what this new feeling was, but wanted to hold onto for the rest of her days.

Nodding, I stood. "Let's go find them," Kuy was out the door before she finished talking.

I smiled up at her. I was so extatically happy when she said that. "I love you too." I told her back giving her face one last lick before I jumped off of her. I shook my pelt out as she stood. My tail signaling for her to follow me to the the river I could hear running behind us. As I took a drink I remembered we had no idea where we were.

I looked sideways at her then shook my head I needed to clear it so I could try and find our way out of here. "Oh god! What are our parents doing right now?" I looked at her I could tell she also had not thought about this.


As we walked out into the village I saw Cassie walking around so I walked up to her. "Do you know where Joram is?" When she looked at me she had a seething mad look about her.

"Yeah he ran off after that other wolf Estoni close to the south west by the river." After she supplied the answer she just walked off. I looked at them and nodded. We went fast so we could still catch their sent.

Smiling as she got to her paws, she never thought he would return thoe words. Although, he had hinted that he did love her earlier. She couldn't help but grin at the thought of them, together, happy. For once in the past few days, she was happy... truely happy.

She followed him over towards the water, dipping her head to take a drink from the river just as he did. She stared at her reflection, was the water was virtually still on the pebble bed, even if it rolled past. Jumping when her concentration was broken, she looked questioningly at him, confused. The words did not register in her mind at all, but suddenly she understood.

"Oh!" She said suddenly.

I knew that Chasey had something to do with Joram chasing after Estoni, and I was getting myself a little mad. Kuy growled next to me as he lead the way into the forest. There was no way in hell he was letting that pup chase after her, and find her.

I took her a second to realize what I had said. I mentally shook my head at myself for being shuch an idiot. I should have watched where I was going or something. I looked at her and smiled though we were in a tough possition I knew it would all be okay. "How about we walk down the river for aways it has to lead back towards the village."

She smiled at me and nodded.



I looked at Kuy I knew I should have told Joram what Kuy would do when he figured out that he liked his daughter. He was like most over protective fathers. Crazy. I mean Palaina is the same way. I shook my head silently as Kuy stopped to try and find their scent. When he started walking we followed him.

She smiled as she nodded, and began to follow Joram up the river, walking at his side. "We could follow our scent back," She said, her voice soft. She preferred walking with the river however.

Kuy walked on, he really wanted to find his daughter. He had no clue what she was doing out in the middle of the forest with a boy no less, but the thoughts that raced through his mind didn't help him at all. He could hear the other three following him behind as he picked up the speed and soon began to run.

"Oh I know I just prefer the river the sound relaxes me but if it akes you feel safer we can go by our scent."



I followed closely with Kahlan when he came to a stop their scent was strong here but it wasn't exctly recent. I looked at them and waited for what they wanted to do.

"Yes, the river is relaxing."

I nodded, turning to see the river next to us."Maybe they followed the river to get back to camp, or something."

I heard something behind us about an hour after later. I turnd around and growled loudly in warning.
My mom came out of the shadows. I stopped growling and nodded in her direction. Kuy and my dad stepped out next. Kuy looked pissed off. Crap not now.

When I saw them I was extremly releaved to find them okay. But when I looked over at Kuy I knew what was coming next and I should have warned Joram but I knew it would be ne use. Besides I knew Palaina woudl do the same thing in his place. [/center][/size]

Instantly, she dropped to a fighting stance when she heard Joram usher a low growl. Then her eyes widened as she saw his mother step out. Followed by their fathers, she saw the angry look in his eyes. Backing off a couple of spaces, she glanced over at Joram, trying to figure that out they should say about what happened here.

I was relieved when I spotted Estoni, and I was also relieved she was with Joram, instead of running off by herself. However, I couldn't stop Kuy when he rushed forward, stopping dead right before knocking Joram over.

"What the hell are you doing with my daughter?" He barked, appearing to be seething mad. He was a father after all, and only had one daughter. His baby girl.

I looked at Kuy he was barley an inch away from me. "Sorry sir its just I had ti follow her Cassie found me and tried to get me to go with her, and Estoni saw so I went after her." My head lowered to the ground.

Kuy didn't believe the story. "Why would she run off after seeing you with Chasey? It doesnt' make sense, don't lie to me boy," He growled, staring at him hard with his blue eyes. One corner of his mouth twitched up in a smile wehn the pup lowered his head, but it was gone in the second. He was to angry to be amused.

She stared on, wondering what her father was doing, yet she knew Joram was in for more. She didn't know what she could say, instead she glanced off at her mother.
