Well, I feel obligated to post a bit of my writing, so here something is. xD It's a piece that I'm not quite sure what I wrote it for (I remember writing it), and it was saved in my "misc" folder, sooooo... xD I'll probably end up using it in a longer piece, but I'm not sure.
I know it's a little bit cliche, but ehh. xD I'll try and get something better up soon.
The air around him was cold, very cold, but his breath did not mist. There was hardly any temperature difference between this winter night’s frigid air. His body was as glacial as the frozen ground beneath his feet. His heart did not beat. His skin was as pale and radiant as the full moon. His eyes were those of a shark; they marked him as the fiercest and most dangerous predator. His hair (oh, his hair!) was unusually long for a man (effeminate, some might say), and it contrasted so beautifully with the rest of his being. Curly, thick, and red as the brightest flame!
The shark’s body was streamlined and small. The dark coat that he wore hung off his shoulders as if on a coat rack, not a man. His hips were slim and almost girlish, but that did not alter the fierce nature that he possessed.
And he moved with a fearsome grace. His steps made no sound, his movements so fluid that it was almost as if he was made from liquid and not flesh and bone. Each step was purposeful and hesitation or doubt had no place with him. It was almost as if he was inhuman.
The careful observer would have noticed that the strange man’s stride was slowing by the tiniest bit with each stride. When he finally came to a complete halt, it was as if he had never moved at all.
I know it's a little bit cliche, but ehh. xD I'll try and get something better up soon.
