"HEY!" I snarled. I took a step towards the half-brother. "She was in line for the throne way before you were born, and you best listen to your Alpha!"

Kuy had stopped fighting with the brown wolf, since Anakalia now commanded the pack that was once her fathers. He looked over and saw his body at her feet.

When Kuy looked at my feet I did to. Here was my dead father at my feet, and I had done it. I walked away from him and into the middle of the clearing with Kahlan Kuy and Palaina. I looked at my much smaller half brother. "Are you with us or against me? Because I have enough energy to fight you too.

I growled, added emphasis to her words. I wanted to see what he would do. I dared him to go after Ana, even if I would stay back until she said so, because again, this was her own fight. Not mine. We might be Alpha's of our pack, but she was Alpha of her's, and it was her duty to keep everyone in line of order.

I looked back at my friends. I smiled at Kahlan. "You will be the first aloud to help if I need it and Kuy if you feel she needs help feel free to come and help her. After that whats the point of you staying back Palaina? I know you want to fight but I have my reasons please understand." I nodded and stepped forward.

He came at me without even evaluating the situation. I deflected him fast. He had the energy just not the skills needed to fight well. He was still young. He came at me again this time I sunk my nails into him. I needed to do this fast. Yes I had energy but not a lot I hadn't eaten in three days.

I grabbed on to him with my teeth and bit down. Then through him into the clearing again. I waited a moment taking a breath. I was so tired now. I looked at Kahlan and smiled and waved my head for her to help me.
"You better be careful though." I whispered in her ear.

I padded over, and growled, waiting. "Don't worry, I'll be careful."

I turned and saw him getting up and charing towards Ana, but I intercepted, ramming into his side and biting down on his foreleg as he tried to get up.

I wanted to help Kahlan and i felt bad but i knew I would just hinder the process. I looked back at Kuy, I motioned him forward with my tail. "Go help her, I don't want anything to happen. Be careful." He ran off.

"Palaina," I whispered still looking forward. Instantly he was at my side. I'm going to need someone to help me with my pack. Would you?" After he answered I licked his face then sent him off to help finish the job too. I sat but everything soon went black. I was to exahusted and tired.

When Anakalia asked me to help her I gave her a delighted 'Yes I would Be happy to.' SHe then sent me on my way to help the other two. It wasn't until we were done when I realized she passed out.

Her brother now lay helpless before the three of them. I turned towards the other wolves.

"Dare not deny your Alpha," Turning I ran towards her side. I knew she had blacked out, but Palaina was also in charge of the pack, as I knew Anakalia would make him. I smiled slightly. I noticed the other wolves had gathered around us. Kuy padded up to my side and gave my ear a lick. I couldn't help but smile when I could feel the eyes of the single females on me, hell maybe even taken. Jealously, no doubt.

I looked at Kuy we had to talk. No all four of us had to talk. I looked at our pack and smiled. "You will stay close but not eat everything in these woods. Ana has asked me to help command you so you must listen to me."

I picked Ana up and Kuy, Kahlan, and I walked back to there din. Kuy left after we got back to go get a kill. While he was gone i went up to Kahaln.

"We need to talk about the packs, but we must wait till Ana wakes up and Kuy comes back."

I thingyed my head and looked at him. Talk about our packs?

"And what about our packs?"

"I know Ana and I would love to stay close to you, but this is your land and not ours. I know Ana and if we do go back down there she would come and go everyday even if it is just to say hi." I sighed and then breathed in deeply again.

"I would understand if you didn't want everyone on your land, but know that you are also allowed to move to ours and escape to here should you need to."

"This is my home, and I'm not looking forward to leaving it," I said, my voice low. "We made this den into what it is now. I'd be happy to visit, however, but I rather not change homes right now, if at all, because of my condition."

I said, raising one eyebrow. I wanted my pups to be born on the land Kuy and I have ruled for well over two years. I could send word with Kuy while I was still heavily burdened with the birthing and raising of my pups, then once they were old enough, I would take them on their first visit to go see Uncle Palaina and Aunt Anakalia. I smiled at the thought of having the sound of puppy feet fill the den. They could be our sister pack, and we could converse, share ideas, and kills if food became scarce on one land. Yes it would be nice.

"I know you would not like that it was just a suggestion." I smiled widely. "Would you please wake me when Kuy comes back with the kill i would like to sleep a little."

"Will do," I said, as I turned and waited for him to come home.

It was a half an hour to an hour wait, when I finally heard him outside. Smiling I ran out and greeted him, giving his muzzle a kiss. I helped him carry it in, and when we got inside I called for Palaina. I hungerily dove into the bear, and Kuy joined me.

I woke to find Palaina next to me sleeping heavily. Iheard Kahlan call for Palaina. He awoke slowly. When he saw me he jumped up and smiled. "Come on, Kuy dot diner!"

I walked out then went to the bear and took a bite ti tasted so good.

I smiled when they joined up to eat. When I had eaten my fill, I backed off, and layed down on a pile of skin's. I start licking my muzzle and grooming my fur while the others ate.

Kuy gulped down his recent bite. "So Kah tells me you want to talk, Palaina?"
