Snowy Forest

[Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander]

Original name, huh? Anyways this is a roleplay between Anakalia and I.

Skeleton of the plot; Anakalia[or whatever name she chooses for herself] finds herself lost in a snowy forest on a mountain where she runs into a pair of wolves.

[Anakalia]

I shake the snow out of my dark silvery gray fur. Shivering slightly at the cold. I start to walk again slower then before. I've gone with out food now for almost a week. I left my pack they were...lets just say hostile. *snap* I perk my ears up looking around the dense forrest for where the noise came. My Icy blue eyes shifted to my right. Two others come out of the trees in the dark.

She dipped her head low, her ears lowering. She sniffed once, and blinked her green eyes. Raising her ears, she stepped foreward with a paw, the soft snow beneath her feet muffling her steps. To her left, her mate had stepped on a branch hidden beneath the snow. Turning towards him she let a growl escape from withen her throat before setting foreward.

Her black pelt rippled with muscles as she loped closer to the other she-wolf. This she-wolf was a gray silver in color, with icy blue eyes. She kept her distance, waiting to figure out if she was friend or foe. A little behind her, her mate, who had a golden coat and beautiful blue eyes[well in her opinion anyways] kept his head low, watching her, waiting.

"You, why have you ventured into our land?" The black she-wolf spoke first.

[Anakalia]

I looked at her intrestingly but s=took a step back anyways. I looked back for a possible escape route. It was hard to see her. Her coat an impossible black. Somewhere behind her i saw something move but just slightly. I tilted my head to the side.
"I am sorry. I did not mean to intrude. I am only trying to find my way." I said timidly. My front paw moved in a circular motion a sighn of my nerves. I couldnt sense any danger just a little annoyance and maybe anger.
I moved back slowly, but had to stop i felt extremly dizzy. I sat back on my haunches.
"Give me a second and i will leave." I became incressingly dizzly. I bowed my head.

THis is odd, I thought as the she-wolf before me looked like she was ready to fall.

"Are you hurt?" I asked. I hadn't meant to sound mean earlier but I was only protecting my home and family. I took a step foreward, careful to keep my actions friendly and not hostile. I sniffed once, I could smell no blood on here, but that didn't mean she had internal injuries. Also the scent of no blood meant that the silver she-wolf hadn't eaten withen the past few days.

[Anakalia]

i Lifted my head a little not alot for fear i'd pass out. She'd changed her ways. Not so defensive anymore but then i could understand i'd be defensive against a lone wolf too. Even myself would be. at times i could look sinister it was a bad thing to me cause i am not a mean wolf at all. I also sadly had a larger and taller frame then her.
I tilted my head the thing behind her moved again. "I am fine just tierd and a little hungry but i'll be fine." I said with a little more effort. I lifted my head more. Sniffing the air again the annoyance she held was gone. It was more curious now.
I looked behind her again.
"Is there someone with you?" I said standing up ready to be defensive if i had to for mine and her sake. I pushed the dizzyness aside and let out a low growl.

I had noticed the she-wolf was bigger then I, yet I had no reason to fear her. I blinked, I noticed she wasn't looking at me, but behind me. I knew that since night had fallen I was pretty hard to spot, especially since the moon was behind clouds, yet I thought he would be easier to spot than I.

"Infact there is." I stated, a soft smile coming to my lips, as I beckoned with my tail for him to step forward. Out of the shadows the golden wolf stepped foreward. He released a low growl in response to hers, and now standing next to me, he was an exceptionally large brute.

"This is Kuy," I said, indicating the male standing beside me. "He is my mate, and I am Kahlan. What are you dubbed?" I saw she had gotten to my feet and I let a mocking frown come to my lips. I heard Kuy grumble something underneath his breath about nobody could threaten him, yet I couldn't help but smile, because I surely could.

"Now, now, no need to stand in your condition. Don't mind him, he'll come around soon enough. We can lead you to our den, we still have some fresh kill left over that I'm willing to share with you if you wish?"

[Anakalia]

I looked at kuy. He was far taller then I. I grumbled back to him some what but i took the step back again and sat.
"Hello, I am Anakalia." I said still alittle edgy from the suprise. I ignored his further grumbling. I would be honored to have some of your kill, but you do not have to take me to your den if you do not wish."
I tilted my head a little looking at the way kuy had taken a protective stance towards Kahlan.
"I do not wish to harm her. If this makes you feel better i was ready to protect her should it have come to it."
I sighed and stood up pacing back and forth in my spot never looking away fron them. I walked forward a couple of steps tentivly and layed down in front of them. I yawned. Finally i broke my gaze looking around my fully for the first time in a few hours. It was beautiful. There were so many trees and i could tell i was on a mountain because i could see the ground start to slope down and i could see another hill behind it. I looked at them again. Kahlan was looking at him and whispering something. I could see him relax a little but not balk off all the way. I sat there quietly. Tail flicking back and forth behind me.

I continued on with my silent conversation, switching from whispering to mental communication so I could raise my voice. I was arguing hi for a brief moment, my tail lashed in anger until he finally stopped to calm down. When he did, I lifted up with my muzzle and gave his ear a loving lick.

"We've decided to let you come to our den." I stated and he stepped foreward. He still kept an eye on me, making sure I was in no danger before proceeding.

"Come, we shouldn't linger more than me must," He said his voice deep, as he turned and waited for the she-wolves to follow him. I moved over towards Anakalia, and waited for her to get up again. I wished to help her along to our den.

[Anakalia]

I stood up slowly looking at them. I saw her mover closer. I looked away to Kuy. I bowed, my head, "Thank you so much."
She moved closer again as i walked forward. I stumbled a little and she rushed over to me and nuged me a little with her shoulder. I looked in her eyes. I knew she could tell i was greatful. As we walked i could tell i was slowing them down and i felt bad. So i tried to pick up my pace, but after a while i slowed down again. I stopped looking and paying attention i just followed aimlessly. My paws were sore from walking for so long i just wanted to sleep.
I was thinking in my head when suddenly i realized the potential danger i could be in. I looked up at them, but suddenly i knew i would never be in danger from them. I just continued to walk then.

I could see the change in her attitude almost immediately, but just like a simple spark it went out. Did she believe she was in danger? I shook it off. I would be highly suspicious if two wolves I've never met before was taking me to their home in territory only they knew too.

"We're almost there," I said as I could see our den from here, yet to the untrained eye it was nearly ipossible to spot. Kuy moved up over and moved back a low hanging willow branch uncovering the den withen. A soft warm orange glow emitted from inside as I lead the way. The scent of blood filled my nose.

[Anakalia]

When she told me we where almost there i could barley believe her. I saw nothing just trees. When Kuy opened the den i was suprised i almost took an involintary step back. And when i smelled the bloog i liked my muzzle awaiting my first meal in days. I followed them into their den. I felt the warmth and shivered happily. Finally i could be rid of the cold i'd felt for the last three days straight. I loved the snow but i had not been used to it.

My family lived down in the lower parts of the mountains, but deepper into the forest to no one could see us. We lived by streams so that way it would be easier to hunt for everything needed water.

I smiled when she walked into our warm den, the glowing embers of our fire casting off a nice glow. There were couple rooms off of the main chamber. To the left was the room Kuy and I normally stayed in. I walked over to the right side of the cave and beckoned with my tail to the doorway.

"You can stay here." I said, it was not a question, but a statement. I padd over towards the kill and nodded, letting her know she had permission to eat. Kuy, on the other hand went to go sit on some deer hides off to one side of the chamber room.

I smiled at her. "Thank you." Slowly i walked over to there kill. I breathed in deeply. It smelled of freshly killed bear. My favorite.
I liked my muzzle again. Bending my head down i sunk my teeth into it and took a bite ripping the flesh away. I chewed hungrily. I ate as much as i dared. I didn't want to imposse on their food. I took just enough to tie me over.
I padded over to the wall across the way close to the fire to look at them. Kahlan had her head resting on Kuy's shoulder gentley rubbing her head against him. I couls tell she loved him so much. I wished that for once i would have that kin of love that i had never been granted.
I lay down to watch them quiety. My paws were crossed in front of me i lay my head down and rubbed my ear against them. I licked my lips on last time to make sure the blood was gone.

I sighed with content as I nestled up against Kuy's warm body after being out in the cold. I closed my eyes momentairly before opening thema gain to look at Anakalia.

"Anakalia, I wish to know more about you, will you tell?" I asked, inquistively. When I had spoke to Anakalia, Kuy had lowered his head so he was resting it on my back. He watched her from half-closed eyes, keeping his guard up, yet resting easily in his home.
